2. Scope of Services & Freemium Model
We offer a range of IT services on a "freemium" basis. Basic features of our Services may be available for free up to certain usage limits. To access advanced features or exceed the free usage limits, you will be required to create an account and may need to purchase a subscription or make a one-time payment.
Free Tier Limitations
- Link Creation: Up to 20 shortened links per user account
- Analytics: Basic click tracking and device information
- Link Lifespan: Links remain active as long as your account is active
Premium Features
Advanced features require a paid subscription and include:
- Custom Domains: Use your own branded domain
- Advanced Analytics: Detailed tracking and reporting
- API Access: Integrate SkyShare into your applications
- QR Code Generation: Automatic QR codes for all links
3. User Accounts and Registration
To access most features of our Services, you must register for an account. By creating an account, you agree to:
Account Information Requirements
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process
- Required information includes: name, email address, mobile number
- For paid services: payment information and identity verification documents may be required
- Email and phone verification is required during account creation
Account Security Responsibilities
- Maintain the security of your password and account credentials
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
Age Requirement
You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account and use our Services. Users under 18 should obtain parental consent.
Inactive Accounts
Accounts that remain inactive (no login or activity) for a continuous period of 5 years may be automatically deleted to maintain system performance and data hygiene.
Privacy Protection: Our collection and use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal data. We will not share your personal information with third parties, except as necessary to provide the Services (e.g., payment processors) or as described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Payments, Subscriptions, and Refunds
Payment Terms
- Certain Services are available on a paid basis, either through a one-time payment or a recurring subscription plan
- You agree to pay all applicable fees as described on our website and pricing page
- Payment Methods: We accept all major payment methods including credit/debit cards, UPI, net banking, and international payment options
- Payment Gateways: All transactions are processed securely through Razorpay and PayPal
Subscription Billing
- For recurring subscriptions, you authorize us to automatically charge your chosen payment method at the start of each billing period
- Failed Payments: We will check if payment is received within 24 hours. If payment fails, your service may be temporarily suspended
- Plan Changes: You may upgrade or downgrade your subscription plan. Changes take effect at the end of your current billing cycle
- Plan changes during a billing period are not prorated; changes apply only after the current plan expires
Refund Policy
We offer a 24-hour full refund policy for all purchases.
- Full refunds are available for any purchase if requested within twenty-four (24) hours of the transaction
- After the 24-hour period, all payments are non-refundable
- No refunds are provided for unused subscription time after account termination

Discounts & Promotions
We may offer discounts for annual subscriptions, as well as special pricing for students, startups, and non-profit organizations. Discount eligibility and terms are subject to verification and may change at our discretion.
5. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to use the Services for any unlawful or prohibited purpose. By using our Services, you shall not:
Prohibited Content
- Use our link shortener to redirect to malicious websites, illegal content, or fraudulent schemes
- Create links to content involving phishing, malware, viruses, or harmful software
- Share links to illegal, harmful, or inappropriate content including but not limited to child exploitation, terrorism, or violence
Prohibited Activities
- Engage in spamming or mass unsolicited messaging
- Infringe on intellectual property rights of any party
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble our software
- Use the Services in a way that could damage or impair our servers
Google Safe Browsing URL Validation
To protect our users and maintain service integrity, we implement Google Safe Browsing API for automatic URL validation:
- Real-time Validation: Every URL submitted for shortening is checked against Google's database of unsafe websites
- Automatic Blocking: URLs identified as malicious, phishing, malware distributors, or unwanted software will be automatically rejected
- Continuous Monitoring: Existing shortened links are periodically re-validated to ensure ongoing safety
- User Protection: This system protects both the link creator and end-users from accessing dangerous websites
Important: Even with automated protection, users who attempt to share bad, illegal, or ineligible websites will be blocked by Google's validation system. This helps keep our platform safe and compliant.
Rate Limiting & Abuse Prevention
To ensure fair usage and prevent abuse, we implement rate limiting on our Services. Excessive requests or automated bot activity may result in temporary or permanent suspension.
Specific rate limits are configured on our servers and are not publicly disclosed to prevent circumvention.

User Responsibility & Liability for Created Links
IMPORTANT LEGAL DISCLAIMER
By creating and sharing shortened links through our Services, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Full Responsibility: You, as the link creator, are fully and solely responsible for how you use the shortened link and for what purpose
- End-User Responsibility: You are responsible for all end-users who click on your shortened link, including their actions and any consequences arising from their use of the destination URL
- Data Responsibility: Any data collected from end-users who interact with your links is your responsibility, and you must comply with all applicable privacy laws and regulations
- Content Liability: You are responsible for ensuring the destination URL contains legal, appropriate, and non-harmful content
- Legal Compliance: You must ensure your use of shortened links complies with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws
- Third-Party Claims: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SkyBrance Tech Private Limited from any claims, damages, or legal actions arising from your use of shortened links
SkyBrance Tech Private Limited acts solely as a link shortening service provider. We do not control, monitor, or take responsibility for the content of destination URLs or how users choose to distribute their shortened links. The person who creates the link bears full legal and ethical responsibility for its use and consequences.
6. Link Shortener Services & Data Analytics
When you use our SkyShare link shortening service, you acknowledge and agree that we will collect certain information from individuals who click on your shortened links ("End-Users") for the purpose of providing you with analytics.
This information includes:
- User-Agent: We capture the End-User's user-agent string to identify their device type (e.g., mobile, desktop), operating system, and browser for aggregated analytics.
- IP Geolocation: We process the End-User's IP address in real-time to determine their general geographic location (e.g., country or city). We do not store full IP addresses in our database.
This data is used solely to provide you with link tracking analytics and to improve our Services. We respect End-User privacy and comply with applicable data protection regulations.
Your Responsibility for Link Usage and Data
Important: As the creator of a shortened link, you are responsible for:
- How you distribute and use your shortened links
- The end-users who click on your links and their subsequent actions
- Complying with privacy laws regarding any data you collect through your links
- The content and legality of your destination URLs
SkyBrance provides analytics as a tool; you remain solely responsible for your link usage and compliance with all applicable laws.
7. Intellectual Property
Our Property
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Services (excluding User Content, defined below), including our:
- Website, applications, and software code
- Logos, trademarks, and brand assets
- Algorithms, analytics, and proprietary technology
are and will remain the exclusive property of SkyBrance Tech Private Limited and its licensors.
Your Property (User Content)
You retain all ownership rights to the content you create, upload, or link to while using our Services ("User Content").
By using the Services, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, host, store, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Services to you.
8. Termination
Your Right to Terminate
You may terminate your account and stop using the Services at any time through your account settings or by contacting our support team.

We reserve the right to suspend, ban, or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, and for any reason or no reason, at our sole discretion. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Breaches of these Terms and Conditions
- Violation of Acceptable Use Policy
- Fraudulent or illegal activity
- Non-payment of fees
Effect of Termination
- Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease
- You will have 30 days to export your data after account deletion request
- After 30 days, all your data and User Content will be permanently deleted from our systems
- No refunds will be provided for unused subscription time after termination
9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. SkyBrance Tech Private Limited makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the:
- Reliability, availability, or accuracy of the Services
- Uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free operation
- Results obtained from use of the Services
While we maintain backup systems and strive for high availability, we cannot guarantee 100% uptime. System maintenance, updates, and unforeseen technical issues may occasionally occur.
10. Limitation of Liability

- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
